I attended NAMM 2009 this year and was able to confirm my whole premise for starting GrooveisKing.com. This became more evident through the people I met, and most importantly some of the great drummers of our time.
One of those was Bernard Purdie. His playing echoes through the ears of generations past and present. His relaxed but confident style is one of the reasons I most respect him as a player.
